Job Description:
Candour Talent Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Welder to join our well-established client based in the Caerphilly area.
This role presents a unique chance to become a part of a dedicated team within a well-established manufacturing company. This role is a potential temporary to permenant role for the right candidate and salary is dependant on experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding equipment, including MIG/TIG welding, to fabricate metal components.
- Utilise hand tools to assemble metal parts.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Light production work will be expected
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG/TIG welding and other welding techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly techniques.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
