We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while providing exceptional service. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and serve beverages, ensuring that each drink meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or bartending environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and bar equipment.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Understanding of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
