We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Bar Crew Member to join our friendly team at The Vine. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.
The role offers 12–16+ fixed hours per week, with additional shifts available during busy periods, holidays, football matchdays, and staff absence cover.
Key Responsibilities
As a Bar Crew Member, your duties will include:
- Serving and dispensing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Taking food and drink orders
- Providing table service when required
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the bar and restaurant areas
- Stocking fridges and replenishing bar supplies
- Washing and polishing glassware
- Collecting used glasses, plates, and crockery from customer areas
- Working closely with colleagues across all departments to ensure an excellent customer experience
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Enjoy working as part of a small, supportive team
- Have knowledge of draught beers, wines, spirits, and other beverages (preferred)
- Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Be able to work confidently in a busy hospitality environment
Working Hours
This position is based on a fixed rota. Working days may offer some flexibility and can be discussed during the application process.
The available shifts include:
- Wednesday: 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm
- Friday: 5:00 pm to 9:00 / 10:00 pm
- Sunday: 5:00 pm to 9:00 / 10:00 pm
Football Matchday Availability Required
- Saturday Matchdays: 10:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Weekday Matchdays: 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Additional shifts may be available during:
- Bank holidays
- Home matchdays at West Bromwich Albion FC
- Annual leave and sickness cover
The advertised hourly rate applies to applicants aged 21 and over.
For applicants under 21, pay will be in line with the applicable National Minimum Wage/National Living Wage rates.
