Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Joiners / Deckbuilders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in joinery and carpentry, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role involves fabricating and assembling our Pvc decking system on site, ensuring high-quality finishes, and adhering to safety standards. The Joiners / Deckbuilders will play a crucial role in residential, Holiday and commercial projects, contributing to the overall success of our operations. The position is full time on a self employed basis
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble Pvc deck kits in the workshop and on site
- Use power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials.
- Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all work meets quality standards.
- Read design drawings to construct on site
- Collaborate with other members of staff and work as part of a team
- Communicate and update project progress with other members of staff
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised at the end of each day
Skills
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools related to joinery.
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and joinery principles.
- Experience in Decking is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of PVC decking installations are a plus.
- Full clean driving licence
- Towing licence is a plus but not essential
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.

Pay: £18.75-£20.00 per hour
