At Blade Access, we're not looking for someone who simply wants to drive a truck from A to B.
We're looking for people who want to become specialist Driver/Operators.
As a Blade Driver/Operator, you'll drive one of our specialist truck-mounted access platforms to customer sites across the UK, safely position and set up the machine, and operate it to provide customers with safe access to work at height.
You'll be driving some of the most specialist access equipment in the UK — with Blade's fleet ranging from compact truck-mounted platforms to machines capable of working at heights exceeding 100 metres.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Your day-to-day role will include:
- Driving a specialist HGV-mounted access platform to customer sites.
- Carrying out vehicle and equipment checks.
- Completing site-specific safety checks and documentation.
- Safely positioning and setting up the platform.
- Operating the platform in accordance with your training and company procedures.
- Working directly with customers and site teams.
- Providing a professional and reliable service on site.
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety.
- Looking after your vehicle and equipment.
- Representing Blade Access professionally at every site.

Previous powered access experience is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate.
