Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Advanced Labourer Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a range of practical skills across various trades. This role involves undertaking diverse maintenance and repair tasks on-site, ensuring the safety, functionality.
The successful applicant will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality workmanship in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete assigned tasks safely and effectively.
- Fabricate custom components or modifications as required for specific projects.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met without compromising quality.
- Ensure any company vehicle you are offered for work purposes is kept clean and tidy and you carry out low maintanance checks regularly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, masonry, Wet trades and decorating
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to construction and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or specifications is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to different project requirements.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Physical fitness suitable for manual labour tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights if necessary.
- Valid relevant certifications or licences (e.g., CSCS card) are preferred but not essential.
- A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
