Salary: £14.85 per hour
Hours: 40 hours a week
Working Pattern: 5 out of 7 days
Contract: Term-time only, 34 weeks per year, equated pay

What You’ll Do:

Prepare and deliver exceptional hospitality food for corporate events, private functions, formal dinners, buffets, banquets, and silver service occasions.

Produce high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients while maintaining exceptional presentation standards.

Support the planning, preparation, and delivery of hospitality menus for a variety of events.

Ensure food is replenished and presented to the highest standards throughout service.

Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, allergen management, and health & safety standards.

Work collaboratively across the wider catering operation to support business requirements.

Supervise and support members of the kitchen team, leading by example during service.

Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising food waste.

Work closely with the senior chef team to continually improve menus and hospitality offerings.

Deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable dining experiences for every guest.
What You Bring:
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a quality hospitality or professional catering environment, such as hotels, restaurants, hospitality venues, buffets, fine dining, silver service or similar settings.

Experience working within a 1–2 Rosette or equivalent quality hospitality environment (Desirable).

Strong culinary experience with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced professional kitchen environment.

A positive attitude, professionalism and genuine passion for hospitality and food.

Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene and health & safety legislation.

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent professional cookery qualification).

Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
