Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems across various projects. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain drainage infrastructure using appropriate tools and techniques
- Conduct site surveys to assess existing drainage conditions and identify potential issues
- utilise welding, plumbing, carpentry, and assembly skills to construct or modify drainage components
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during installation and repair tasks
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required on-site
- Collaborate with other engineering professionals to ensure project compliance and quality standards
- Conduct routine inspections of drainage systems to identify faults or blockages
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation related to drainage projects
Skills
- Must have: Full, clean driving license
- Must have: CSCS card
- Experience: Jetting, Patching, Lining
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to drainage systems and infrastructure
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate installation and maintenance work
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications accurately
- Good physical fitness to handle demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Effective communication skills to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
This role, will at times require extensive night works which are compensated for as part of the overall offered package.

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
