Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building cabinets. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for woodworking and construction, looking to develop their skills.
Duties
- Fabricate custom cabinets, according to detailed specifications and drawings
- Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to achieve precise fits and finishes
- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery safely and efficiently, including saws, drills, edgebander. CNC experience would be beneficial but not essential.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and cabinet making with a strong understanding of kitchen manufacturing.
- Competence in operating power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- A proactive attitude towards learning new skills within the kitchen manufacturing industry.
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
