Job Overview
We are seeking a housekeeper/cleaner to look after our family home, this is a 4 bedroom house in the Willows in Torquay, we just have two very busy jobs and the house is always neglected due to our work commitments so we are hoping to get someone in to take care of it. We have two girls 9 and 11 and we have a two small cavapoo's.
We are happy to work to your schedule, so if you have children yourself and want to do this during school times or similar we are very open to this.
I am not entirely sure how many hours a week this job will take, I am imaging 2-3 days a week. If your looking for full time employment we do have a business very locally that we could offer additional hours there cleaning etc if that was of interest.
Duties
- Clean and maintain all areas within the house
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, wash dishes and clean bathrooms
- Make beds and change linens as required
- Tidying and organising bedrooms and wardrobe management
- Replenish supplies such as towels and cleaning products
- Laundry and ironing for the family, handing delicates and alterations of clothing where needed including school uniforms.
- Cleaning the outside entrance and back yard when needed
- Cleaning barbeque when used and other BBQ items etc.
- Cutting the grass
- Trimming the hedge
- Empty trash and dispose of waste materials properly
- Report any maintenance issues.
- Cleaning vehicles (preferred but not a must)
- Ideally we would like to go out once a week or fortnight, so having someone stay over for a few hours (7-12) to keep an eye on the children would be great but again this is preferred and not a must.
- Potentially cooking but again this is not a must either.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £14.00 per hour
