Hatherop Castle School are seeking drivers for their morning and afternoon School runs.
Candidates will need to be confident in interacting with children and be able to maintain a good atmosphere. Drivers will need to have a warm and flexible approach, be able to show initiative and work well on their own and as part of a team.
A standard driving/car license will be required. The ideal candidate will have a D/D1 license, if not, there is possibility to complete training/gain further qualifications.
Hours, Salary & Benefits:
Hours: Mornings only, Monday to Friday 6:30am - 8:30am. 10 hours per week. No compulsory weekend work. Term time only, 40 weeks per year.
Lots of opportunity for voluntary overtime, such as for weekly sports fixtures, educational visits and airport runs.
Salary: £15.04 ph with full D1 license and CPC / £13.26 ph without qualifications (training can be provided)
Potential overtime hours available, at the same hourly rate.

The post holder must promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people by adhering to, and ensuring compliance with, the school’s Safeguarding Staff Behaviour Policy Statement at all times. Any actual or potential concerns about a child’s safety or welfare identified during the course of their duties must be reported to the Headmaster or Designated Safeguarding Lead.
