We're looking for casual event crew to join us for our open air tribute concert weekends as drivers and stage hands. This is a great opportunity to work with some amazing heritage and parkland properties across the UK and gain some experience in the events sector! This is a flexible, casual role that fits well around existing part time or self-employed work.
What will I be doing?
You'll be one of our team's drivers/stage hands. You'll help with the loading and unloading of company vans, and building the stage and rigging on arrival, as well as breaking down the staging at the end of a show.
What experience do I need?
Van driving experience is preferred. You must hold a full UK driving licence and have at least two years of driving experience. Previous experience in outdoor events is a plus, though training is provided.
What kind of person are you looking for?
Our shows are a lot of fun but they're also very hard work! We're looking for diligent, hard working, and easy going people with excellent people skills and a good work ethic. It's more important to us that you are keen to learn and get stuck in than it is you have a lot of experience.
What's it like working with you?
An average single event weekend will look something like this:
- Friday, 3pm: Arrive on site at our Workshop to load vans and drive to accommodation
- Saturday, 10am: Arrive at the event location and begin the load in. This takes 3-4 hours depending on the site.
- 2pm-6:30pm: Downtime and a midday meal.
- 6:30pm - 10pm: Showtime!
- 10pm - It's time to pack down. This takes 2-3 hours depending on the site.
- 1am - Back at our accommodation for a well earned night's sleep!
- Sunday, 11am - Return to base and unload vans.
