Wilson Associates Ltd are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- utilise measurement tools and testing equipment to verify product quality and consistency.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records for traceability purposes.
- Identify, document, and report any defects or non-conformities to the relevant departments for corrective action.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
- Assist in implementing quality assurance procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyse inspection data to identify trends or recurring issues, providing insights for process enhancements.
Requirements
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and identify root causes of quality issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools, testing devices, and inspection software.
- Good communication skills to effectively liaise with production teams and management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
