Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Reformer Pilates Instructor to teach classes in our BRAND NEW studio due to open in August 2026 at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Spa in Corby. Our classes will have space for 10 attendees. The ideal instructors will be responsible for delivering engaging, safe, and effective Pilates classes using reformer equipment, helping clients improve their strength, flexibility, and overall wellbeing. This role offers an excellent opportunity to share your expertise in a supportive environment dedicated to health and fitness.
We aim to hold 2 classes per day Monday - Friday ( 1 in the AM and 1 in the PM ) and 2 classes on a weekend. With a view to expanding.
Instructors will benefit to a free leisure membership at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Spa.
Responsibilities
- Lead group and individual Pilates reformer classes tailored to various skill levels and client needs
- Demonstrate proper technique and ensure correct form during exercises to prevent injury
- Provide personalised modifications and progressions to accommodate different abilities
- Maintain a clean and organised studio environment, ensuring all equipment is sanitised after use
- Stay updated with the latest Pilates techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development
Skills
- Proven experience in instructing / teaching, with a strong understanding of exercise principles
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate clients of all levels
- Ability to adapt classes for individuals with specific needs or limitations
- Certification in Pilates instruction recognised by relevant industry bodies is preferred but not essential
