Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of commercial buses, including seats, floors, windows, and doorways using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Ensure all buses are sanitized regularly to meet health and safety standards
- Remove trash and debris from buses to maintain a tidy environment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning to the supervisor promptly
- Assist with basic vehicle inspections to ensure cleanliness does not interfere with operational safety
- Provide friendly, professional customer service by addressing passenger questions or concerns when needed
- Follow all safety protocols and driving regulations while moving buses within designated areas
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or cleaning experience, especially in a commercial or transportation setting, is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of buses
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
