Building Blocks PreSchool and wrap around care Little Leigh is looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator/Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will be required to work within a team, interact and communicate with children and provide a stimulating learning environment.

The hours for this role are 3 or 2 days per week from 7:30am until 6pm. Rate of pay is dependent on qualifications and experience.

Candidates success will be dependent to a DBS check and completion of two references.
Potential duties include:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Provide individualised care and support to meet the unique needs of each child
- Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and identifying areas for improvement
- Collaborate with families and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's learning journey
- Maintain a clean and organised early years environment
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Strong knowledge of child development theories and practices
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.
