An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Debt Recovery Solicitor with 0–3 years’ PQE to join a highly regarded Commercial Litigation team.
This role is ideal for a solicitor looking to develop their litigation career within a supportive and collaborative environment, gaining exposure to a varied caseload of commercial debt recovery matters while continuing to build strong technical and client management skills.
You will work alongside experienced lawyers, developing your expertise across contentious matters, managing your own files, and gaining valuable exposure to complex commercial disputes.

The Role
You will support clients across a broad range of commercial debt recovery and litigation matters, taking responsibility for your own caseload while assisting on more complex disputes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing commercial debt recovery matters from pre-action through to resolution
- Handling defended claims and supporting litigation proceedings
- Advising clients on recovery strategies and dispute resolution options
- Drafting legal documents, applications, witness statements, and correspondence
- Assisting with mediations, settlement negotiations, and court processes
- Preparing matters for hearings and trials where required
- Liaising with clients, opposing solicitors, Counsel, and other professionals
- Providing clear, practical, and commercially focused legal advice
- Maintaining excellent client relationships and service standards
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor with 0–3 years’ PQE
- Experience or a strong interest in Commercial Litigation / Debt Recovery
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively
- Commercial awareness and a problem-solving approach
- Proactive, motivated, and keen to develop within litigation
- Collaborative approach with a strong commitment to client service
