Human Resources Manager
Location: Crosby Composites Wellingborough & Brackley
Department: Human Resources
Reports to: Finance Director
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to lead our HR function within a fast-paced composite manufacturing environment. This is a varied role where you'll work closely with managers and senior leadership to support our people, ensure legal compliance, and drive employee engagement across the business.
Key Responsibilities

Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding.

Provide expert HR advice and support on employee relations, including disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management.

Oversee monthly payroll processes and employee benefits.

Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and personnel records.

Lead employee engagement initiatives, appraisals and wellbeing activities.

Produce monthly HR reports and KPIs for senior management.

Coordinate training and development activities.

Support audits and ensure compliance with employment legislation and GDPR.

Work closely with managers to promote a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
About You
You'll be an organised, approachable HR professional who enjoys building strong working relationships and supporting both employees and managers.
You'll ideally have:

CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).

Previous experience in a generalist HR Manager role is desirable.

Strong knowledge of UK employment law.

Experience managing employee relations cases.

Payroll administration experience.

Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Experience within manufacturing or engineering is desirable but not essential.

Experience in using a clocking system, excell, word and powerpoint.
