Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met with kindness and professionalism
- Develop, implement, and regularly review individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Lead by example in maintaining high standards of clinical practice, infection control, and health and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare colleagues to coordinate care and provide clear information about treatment procedures
- Manage your time efficiently to prioritize urgent needs while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of resident care.
- Document all nursing activities accurately within health records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with the NMC.
- Strong understanding of care planning processes and ability to adapt plans based on patient progress
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a busy environment
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating initiative and professionalism
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices in nursing
