Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Hard Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape construction and maintenance, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating durable, aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilising a range of tools and machinery to deliver high-quality results. Duties
- Constructing and installing hard landscaping features such as patios, pathways, walls, steps, and water features in accordance with project specifications.
- Operating machinery including excavators and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Preparing sites by clearing vegetation, levelling ground, and excavating as required.
- Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Assisting with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, irrigation system installation, and general garden care when necessary but the main role is hard landscaping.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure project deadlines are met whilst maintaining high standards of quality.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times during the execution of tasks.
Skills
- Proven experience in hard landscaping, construction or related fields.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating machinery such as excavators and power tools.
- Proficiency with hand tools used in landscaping tasks including spades, trowels, levels, and saws.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings or plans for landscape projects.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physical fitness with the capability to lift heavy materials and perform manual labour over extended periods.
- Attention to detail coupled with a commitment to safety standards on-site.

Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour
