We are now seeking caring and reliable Day Care Assistants to join our team and help us continue delivering the highest standards of care.
About the Role
As a Day Care Assistant, you’ll work closely with residents to provide personal, emotional and practical support throughout the day. Every shift is an opportunity to make a real difference — promoting dignity, choice and wellbeing for each individual in our care.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support residents with daily personal care, mobility and mealtime assistance
- Encourage independence and involvement in activities
- Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with colleagues
- Uphold infection control, health and safety and safeguarding standards
- Build positive, respectful relationships with residents and their families
About You:
- Experience in a care or support role preferred (training provided for the right person)
- Kind-hearted, patient and reliable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about helping others and delivering excellent care
