We're looking for enthusiastic, friendly and hardworking team members who enjoy working in a busy sports environment and delivering outstanding customer service.
The Role
As a Sports Bar Team Member, you'll be responsible for ensuring every customer has a fantastic experience, whether they're playing pool, darts, snooker, poker, watching live sport, or simply enjoying food and drinks with friends.
This is a varied role combining bar service, food preparation, customer service and maintaining our high standards throughout the venue.
ResponsibilitiesBar Duties
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Preparing cocktails, spirits, beers and coffees
- Operating the till and handling cash/card payments
- Checking customer identification where required
- Maintaining a clean, organised bar area
- Restocking fridges and bar supplies
Food Service
- Preparing and serving food to company standards
- Ensuring food hygiene regulations are followed
- Maintaining a clean kitchen and food preparation area
- Monitoring stock levels
- Washing up and cleaning equipment
Customer Service
- Greeting customers with a friendly attitude
- Assisting with table bookings
- Helping customers with pool, snooker and dart equipment
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Resolving customer queries professionally
Sports & Gaming Knowledge
A good knowledge or interest in:
- Pool
- Snooker
- Darts
- Poker
- Live Sports
would be a distinct advantage.
You'll often be asked about competitions, equipment, league nights and televised sporting events.
Venue Duties
- Cleaning pool and snooker tables
- Keeping dart areas tidy
- Collecting glasses
- General housekeeping
- Opening and closing procedures
- Ensuring the venue remains clean and safe
- Monitoring customer behaviour and promoting responsible drinking
What We're Looking For

Desirable:
- Previous bar experience
- Previous hospitality experience
- Food Hygiene Certificate
- Personal Licence (advantage but not essential)
- Knowledge of cue sports or darts
- Poker knowledge
- Coffee making experience
