Café Manager – Kays Café Join Us in Building Something Special
We are looking for an experienced, passionate and driven Café Manager to lead the launch of our brand-new café, Kays Café, opening in September.

Kays Café is a modern, welcoming café serving high-quality breakfasts, lunches, freshly prepared hot and cold food, homemade desserts, premium coffee and refreshing drinks.

7:00am – 2:00pm
The Role
As Café Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the café.
You'll be trusted to lead the operation, build an exceptional team and create a fantastic experience for every customer.
This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example and set the standards that the rest of the team follows.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership
- Recruit, interview and hire café team members
- Train and develop new employees

- Carry out regular performance reviews
- Manage rotas and staffing levels
- Delegate tasks effectively
Operations
- Ensure smooth daily operation of the café
- Open and close the business
- Maintain excellent food presentation and consistency
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Maintain speed of service during busy periods
- Ensure cleanliness throughout the café
- Monitor stock levels
- Place supplier orders
- Minimise waste
- Resolve customer concerns professionally
Standards & Compliance
- Maintain exceptional food hygiene standards
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed
- Complete daily and weekly operational checks
- Maintain accurate records where required
- Ensure company procedures are followed consistently
Business Performance
- Drive sales and profitability
- Help develop new menu ideas
- Monitor labour costs
- Control food costs
- Support local marketing initiatives
- Create an environment customers want to return to
About You
