Salary: Grade 6 is £46,474 – £54,232 per annum (commensurate to experience) including London Weighting.
(The pro-rata salary for grade 6 is £27,884 – £32,539 per annum including London Weighting)
About The Role
The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama seeks an imaginative educator/practitioner to deliver and develop teaching in lighting design and production on the new BA (Hons) Production Technologies and Stage Management Programme in the Department of Producing.

You will support students to develop through their work on practical projects and through theoretical enquiry, helping them to become the theatre and performance makers of the next generation. You will provide mentorship and pastoral support and cultivate collaborations across Central’s programmes. Your own practice will inform a future-facing curriculum grounded in equity, anti-racism, digital fluency and sustainability. We welcome applications with professional experience in live performance across a range of scales and genres. This might include performance, theatre or live event lighting design experience or in a similar environment.
We welcome colleagues with either proven higher-education experience or relevant teaching experience and a portfolio that spans research or scholarship, or professional practice.
