Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will support the conveyancing process by managing documentation, coordinating communication between clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers and solicitors ensuring smooth progression of property transactions. Duties
- Assist in preparing and reviewing legal documents related to property transactions, including contracts, transfer deeds, mortgage deeds completion statements.
- Coordinating with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to gather necessary information and ensure timely progress of conveyancing matters
- Manage and organise electronic case files using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook for effective record-keeping and communication
- Monitor deadlines and milestones throughout the conveyancing process to ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal procedures
- Conduct basic research on property titles, land registry records, and relevant legal documentation to support transaction completion
- Draft correspondence and updates for clients, keeping them informed of case progress with clear communication skills
- Support senior solicitors with administrative tasks to streamline workflow and enhance overall efficiency
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex information in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and familiarity with IT systems used in legal environments
- Excellent organisational skills with effective time management to prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of conveyancing procedures, land registry processes, or previous experience as a paralegal is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling legal documents and client information
