Job Title: Shift Engineer
Key accountabilities and tasks related to the Maintenance Engineer role include
·Ensuring we exceed the expectations of our guests, responding efficiently for the repair of all guest rooms, public and service areas of the hotel to ensure they are well maintained.
·Responsible for all statutory checks and PMC within the plant rooms, bedrooms and public areas
·Conducting the general repairs of electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, fire protection, carpentry, and plumbing, decorative works such as domestic painting, tiling etc.
·Ensuring that all works are completed on schedule, within department budget and compliant with standards and safety regulations.
·Carrying out routine Engineering building checks with specific attention on defective or deficient life safety features.
·To follow Fire Safety Regulations. Health & safety policy and procedures
·Ensure preventive and reactive maintenance tasks are performed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and correctly recorded.
·To ensure all chemicals used and stored safely and any COSHH procedures are followed within the maintenance department.
