Job summary
Our Pharmacy Technician responsibilities include:
- Undertaking a clinical, technical, and administrative role.
- Supporting our Clinical Pharmacist in the delivery of clinical pharmacy services.
- Assisting with medication safety monitoring systems.
- Performing medicines improvement work to maximise safe, cost-effective best practice in prescribing. under the supervision of the Clinical Pharmacist or GP
- Liaising with clinicians and administrative staff to resolve medicine-related queries.
- Monitoring practice prescribing and local and national prescribing policies.
- Supporting the Clinical Pharmacist in Structured Medication Reviews, organise necessary monitoring tests before SMR.
- Undertaking a patient-supporting role to ensure effective medicines use through shared decision-making
- Supporting medicine reconciliation of patients whose care is transferred back into primary care in a timely and effective manner, liaising with patients and other providers to ensure patients receive appropriate medication post discharge.
Pay: £26,486.00-£30,743.00 per year
