Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team . As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of grilled dishes in our restaurant kitchen. Your expertise in food preparation and culinary skills will contribute to the overall dining experience of our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook grilled dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
- Ensure that all food items are properly stored, handled, and cooked at the correct temperature
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely food preparation
- Assist in food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables or marinating meats
- Monitor food inventory and communicate any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus
Skills:
- Food safety: Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Help: Willingness to assist other team members as needed
- Restaurant: Familiarity with restaurant operations and kitchen procedures
- Cook: Proficiency in cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and frying
