Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision, including washing vegetables and organising ingredients.
- Support chefs by ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean, sterilised, and stored correctly.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware efficiently to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Keep the kitchen area tidy and organised throughout the shift, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in line with environmental policies.
- Follow all hygiene standards diligently to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or culinary environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for cleanliness and detail.
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
