Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Support clients with daily routines such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders according to care
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and update care plans regularly to reflect changing needs
- Observe and report any changes in health or behavior promptly to supervisors or healthcare providers
- Use IT tools to document visits, update schedules, and access client information efficiently
Qualifications
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record for transportation duties
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new entrants
- Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English for effective interaction and documentation
- Basic IT skills for using electronic care management systems and communication tools
- Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate with team members
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ well-being
