Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced site foreman to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of construction processes. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and final delivery.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met.
- Supervise on-site construction activities and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimise project outcomes.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality and adherence to timelines.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a site foreman or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Familiarity with Listed buildings is desirable.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: £37,093.82-£70,000.00 per year
