This fantastic consultancy group has contracts Nationwide, and are looking for dedicated professionals to join the team.
The Regulation 44 Independent Visitor plays a vital role in supporting and advocating for individuals within care settings. This position involves engaging with service users to ensure their voices are heard, promoting their well-being, and safeguarding their rights.
Responsibilities
- Act as an impartial advocate, representing the views and interests of individuals within the care environment.
- Conduct regular visits to assess the quality of care provided, ensuring it meets regulatory requirements and personal expectations.
- Document observations accurately and prepare reports highlighting areas of good practice and areas requiring improvement.
- Collaborate with care staff and management to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote the rights of the children, ensuring they are treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.
- Participate in training sessions related to quality assurance and safeguarding procedures to stay informed of best practices.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in childrens residential homes , in a supervisory capacity.
- Qualification in childrens residential Care
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to listen empathetically and articulate observations clearly.
- Strong organisational skills to manage scheduled visits and documentation efficiently.
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining professional boundaries.
- Commitment to safeguarding principles and promoting the rights of vulnerable individuals.
