Rutledge Recruitment is currently seeking an Experienced Storeperson/Forklift Driver for a well-established manufacturing and engineering company based in the Castledawson, Mid Ulster area.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Full-time 40 hours per week
The working hours will be 7.30am- 5.30pm Monday- Thursday & Friday 8am- 12 noon, ½ hour lunch from 12.30pm- 1pm
Pay Rate:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders
- Book goods into stock and maintain accurate inventory records
- Pick, kit and prepare parts and materials for production requirements
- Deliver parts and materials to designated production areas
- Process goods received notes (GRNs), delivery documentation and stock transactions
- Maintain accurate stock levels using MRP/ERP systems
- Support stock counts, cycle counts and inventory audits
- Operate a forklift to load, unload and move materials safely
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any defects
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe stores environment
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies
Requirements / Desirable Skills:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift License (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse or materials handling role
- Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and stock control procedures
- Experience with goods-in processes, purchase order matching and GRN procedures
- Experience picking and kitting parts to production schedules or works orders
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and computerised stock systems
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across departments
Desirable:
- Reach Forklift License
- Experience within an engineering, machinery or industrial equipment environment
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or 5S principles
- Experience supporting service or spare parts operations
