Overview of Role:
To offering customers excellent service standards on a consistent basis.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating a warm and welcoming environment for guest
- Ensure guests are seated and provided with menus promptly
- Always deliver exceptional service to guests
- Understand menu options and dietary requirements
- Take food & beverage orders promptly
- Maximize upselling opportunities and spend per head at every opportunity
- Ensure food service area is thoroughly cleaned daily
- Set-up, clear and service tables efficiently
- To be fully aware of all reservations bookings in advance and inform staff of same
- Ensure the restaurant/bar areas are clean and well presented at all times
- Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in line with procedures
- To work as part of the team, being aware of colleagues and their needs, and being always flexible.
Requirements
- 1 year experience in Food & Beverage service preferred
- Accurate cash handling skills
- High standard of personal presentation
- Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks
- Minimum 2 GCSE’s English & Maths with good IT skills including Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and time management skills
