Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Admin Assistant to support our friendly team of Chartered Accountants working primarily in the Entertainment Industry. Ideally for someone who has already worked in administration in a Chartered Accountancy practice. This role is based in pleasant offices by the river in South West London. It involves providing comprehensive clerical and organisational assistance to manage various administrative tasks efficiently and ensure smooth daily operations. This position is only suitable for individuals with proven excellent communication skills (both written and verbal skills will be tested in the case of an interview), an extremely keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Duties
- Manage daily office operations and maintain organised filing systems
- Handle incoming calls, emails and correspondence professionally
- Coordinate meetings and appointments and update client information.
- Deal with Company Secretarial duties involving Companies House and Inform Direct
- Deal with various HMRC tasks eg VAT registrations and de-registrations, A1 forms, Certificate of Residence submissions etc
- Prepare and run timesheets for practice billing
- Assist Director with general business administration including monitoring of inboxes and ad hoc tasks
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office administration (at least 2 years)
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities (written and verbal)
- Good working knowledge of various software eg Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- High attention to detail and confidentiality essential
- Experience in dealing with HMRC and Companies House
- Experience in dealing with Inform Direct is desirable but not essential
- Good team player
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
