Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a welcoming environment, supporting both patients and the dental team. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a keen eye for organisation and strong communication skills.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments using practice management software
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and direct calls appropriately
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and processing payments
- Assist with managing patient correspondence, including emails and postal mail
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked with necessary materials
- Support the dental team with administrative duties as required to ensure smooth practice operations
Experience
- Previous office experience or administrative experience is highly desirable
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office or similar programmes
- Experience in a healthcare or dental setting is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
The hours required are Monday-Friday, 40hours per week.

8.15 - 6.15 Tuesday
8.15-5.15 Wednesday
8.15-5.15 Thursday
8.15-3:45 Friday
