Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and hands-on inspection techniques
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs on various equipment and machinery
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to repair or replace parts
- Conduct heavy lifting as needed to move or install heavy components safely and efficiently
- Follow detailed schematics and technical instructions to ensure accurate repairs and assembly
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding repair status and solutions
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Experience in equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Prior experience working with mechanical systems in industrial or commercial environments is preferred
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
