A small independent Nursery requires a Deputy Manager, mainly room based to work 4 full days a week, hours must be 7.45am - 6.30pm. You will be mainly in the older rooms/pre-school. We are happy to consider strong Room Leaders / Third in Charge Candidates, you must have the confidence to step up to Nursery Manager should they ever be away, recent UK nursery experience is essential.
Deputy Nursery Manager Requirements ;
Level 3 or above in Childcare with up to date knowledge on EYFS and Safeguarding.
Recent UK nursery experience as a Room Leader / Third in Charge / Deputy.
Can get to Hersham in Walton-on-Thames easily for 7.45am starts.
Confidence in supporting , leading and motivating staff.
Ability to work well with the manager.
Good communication skills both written and spoken.
Ability to communicate well with parents/care givers.
Deputy Manager Duties;
Room based role, sometimeS required to work in the office when manager is not there.
Lead , support and motivate staff.
Communicate with parents/care givers/visitors and any outside agencies.

Pay: Up to £33,000.00 per year
