Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting the smooth operation of catering services. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and food service, with a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in food preparation and presentation to ensure high standards of quality and hygiene
- Serving food and beverages efficiently
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the catering area, including washing up and sanitising utensils and surfaces
- Supporting the setup and breakdown of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations at all times
- Providing exceptional guest services by attending to customer needs promptly and professionally
- Restocking supplies as needed during service periods
- Assisting with inventory management and stock control
- Supporting with receipt of deliveries and putting stock away
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or catering
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience in food preparation or serving roles is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with customers
- Ability to work flexibly, including during busy periods
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced setting

Pay: £12.71 per hour
