Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Helpdesk Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for liaising with clients, organizing appointments, appointing engineers, and ensuring that each project runs smoothly from start to finish. Your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate multiple tasks will be essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication regarding appointments, project updates, and requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments between clients and engineers, ensuring availability and efficient use of resources.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure they are assigned to the correct tasks, with all necessary project details and requirements provided.
- Ensure that projects run smoothly by monitoring schedules, resolving scheduling conflicts, and managing any issues that may arise.
- Provide clients with regular updates on the status of their projects, ensuring they are informed at every stage of the process.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, appointments, and engineering assignments within the helpdesk system.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all project requirements are met, including resource allocation and technical support.
- Assist with troubleshooting any issues that arise during the appointment scheduling or project execution process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and client-specific requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a technical or engineering environment helpdesk/ service desk essential.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Experience with helpdesk software or scheduling tools is a plus.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic technical understanding of engineering or service-related projects is essential.
Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
