A welcoming and highly supportive primary school in West Yorkshire is seeking an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 following a late resignation.
This is an exciting opportunity to take responsibility for a mixed Year 4/Year 5 class, including full planning, preparation, marking and assessment responsibilities. The position is expected to continue on an ongoing basis, offering stability and the opportunity to become part of a thriving school community.

The Role
The successful candidate will:

Teach a mixed Year 4/Year 5 class.

Undertake full planning, preparation and assessment responsibilities.

Deliver engaging, inclusive and ambitious lessons across the KS2 curriculum.

Foster a positive classroom culture where every child can succeed.

Differentiate effectively to meet the needs of all learners.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
-
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be on track to achieve QTS before September 2026.

Have experience teaching within Key Stage 2.

Demonstrate strong classroom management skills.

Have experience supporting pupils with SEND and adapting teaching to meet a range of learning needs.

Be passionate about providing high-quality teaching and learning opportunities.

Possess a kind, caring and nurturing approach.

Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
