Marketing Assistant (depending on experience, part-time applicants considered)
Reporting to: Group Marketing Director
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and professional Marketing Assistant to support the Group Marketing Director and wider Group Marketing function.
This is a varied and fast-paced role that combines executive support, marketing coordination and stakeholder management. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping the marketing team operate efficiently, ensuring projects remain organised, communications are coordinated and priorities are effectively managed across the business.
The role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a senior marketing leader, gaining exposure to strategic marketing, brand development, business transformation projects, acquisitions, stakeholder engagement and senior leadership decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
· Executive Support
· Provide day-to-day support to the Group Marketing Director.
· Manage and coordinate diaries, meetings, appointments and travel arrangements.
· Organise internal and external meetings, including agendas, supporting documentation and follow-up actions.
· Assist with inbox management, helping prioritise requests and ensuring timely responses.
· Track actions arising from meetings and ensure deadlines are met.
· Support with expense management, administration and general business support activities.
Stakeholder Management & Coordination
· Act as a central point of contact for requests into the Group Marketing function.
· Coordinate enquiries and work requests from stakeholders across the Group.
· Ensure requests are directed to the appropriate team members and tracked through to completion.
· Build positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels of the business.
· Support the smooth flow of communication between marketing and internal stakeholders.
Marketing Team Support
· Support the planning, coordination and administration of marketing projects and campaigns.
· Maintain project plans, schedules, trackers and team documentation.
· Assist with the organisation of events, webinars, meetings and internal communications activity.
· Coordinate content reviews, approvals and asset management processes.
· Support reporting and performance tracking activities where required.
Quality Assurance and Administration
· Proofread marketing materials, presentations, emails and communications to ensure accuracy and consistency.
· Maintain high standards of professionalism across all marketing outputs.
· Support document management and filing processes.
· Assist in maintaining accurate records, project documentation and marketing resources.
Confidentiality and Professional Standards
This role operates in close proximity to senior leadership and will regularly involve access to commercially sensitive, confidential and strategic business information.
The successful candidate must demonstrate absolute discretion, professionalism and integrity at all times. Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information appropriately is a fundamental requirement of the role.
