Natures Pet Products is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and be a good communicator to support the growing SME business in the pet food sector. This is a new position and there is the opportunity for the right candidate to shape and evolve their role to support the growth of the business.
Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate financial data using accounting software Xero
- Chase outstanding debts from customers via email and phone
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Analyse and report on stock levels
- Create new forecasting and company financial reporting tools
- Handle general administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies
- Ad-hoc support to directors and other team members for operational and strategic activities
Ideal Candidate
- Proficient in data entry with high attention to detail
- Knowledge or experience of finance/ accounting practices desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Is willing to get involved and support all areas of the business
- Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonalability
- Demonstrates integrity and professionalism when handling confidential financial and business information
- Enjoys taking ownership, analysing and improving systems and processes
We are a small team who love our pets so it’s important you are a team player who has a genuine interest in working in the sector. Our office is in Mediacity, Manchester and the role is 50% hybrid working.
Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
