Supply Chain Manager

We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of the team, purchasing and planning activities for all materials (plants, growing materials & packaging) ensuring quality, price and supply logistics meet our customer needs, whilst ensuring high standards are achieved and maintained.

The Role
We’re looking for a Supply Chain Manager who will have full responsibility for purchasing all materials required to grow and package our plants. You will be excellent at generating, building and developing strong relationships with our suppliers, purchasing teams and internal stakeholders and enjoy bringing energy and positivity to everything you do whilst thriving on a fast pace of life. This is an opportunity to take ownership for the end-to-end process for the long- and short-term supply, including material requirements planning to drive decision making, maximising efficiencies and minimising disruption.
The Person
For Double H personality is key, a love for plants would be great but we can teach you about Horticulture, we are looking for someone with strong communication, relationship building, organisation and management skills and understands the need to get this right for our business. Someone who brings energy, positivity, and a solutions-focused mindset;
- Experience building long term supplier relationships
- Expert in planning focusing on efficiencies whilst delivering value to our customers
- Highly numerate, analytical, organised and accurate.
- Ability to, and experience in, improving processes to maximise efficiencies and effectiveness.
- Energetic, positive, and naturally brings a can-do attitude to your work
- A strong communicator who builds trust and relationships easily
- Proactive, with the ability to think and act quickly
- Commercially aware, with experience of managing both day to day and thinking for the future ahead
- Resilient, adaptable, and calm under pressure
