Departmnet Supervisor for seasonal department which rotates between, Christmas and garden leisure / furniture.
Hours: 42.5 Hours per week, including alternating weekends.
Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced retail supervisor to support the department manager oversee the daily operations of the furniture or Christmas sections. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing team activities, ensuring high standards of retail discipline and productivity. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong retailing and or visual merchandising skills and a passion for customer service to contribute to a dynamic team during peak seasonal periods.
Duties
- To maintain the high visual standards of the department.
- Create and a deliver a welcoming environment for our guests.
- Support in the control of stock levels through use of our stock management systems.
- Correct pricing and POS standards for ease of our guests shopping.
- To become an ambassador of product knowledge for our great ranges.
- To support the team in delivering profit challenges.
We are looking for a candidate who can feel positive, passionate and energetic about delivering the task at hand. A person who is excited about the prospect of having two very different roles throughout the year, going from the service and sales environment of garden furniture, into the visual creator of Christmas magic.
