Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our busy establishment. Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen activities
- Lead and supervise staff, ensuring effective team management and high levels of motivation
- Maintain excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with regulations
- Coordinate food production processes, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of dishes
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and optimise customer flow for efficient service
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to maximise profitability
- Train new staff members in food preparation, serving techniques, and safety procedures
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality or culinary settings
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Experience in supervising food production, serving staff, and managing restaurant operations
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, culinary practices, and hotel or barista experience is advantageous
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Good communication skills to liaise with staff, suppliers, and customers professionally
- A recognised qualification in hospitality management or culinary arts is desirable but not essential
