Plumber / Gas Engineer
Salary: £36,000 - £44,000 per year
About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Plumber / Gas Engineer to join our team. The role involves carrying out a variety of domestic plumbing, heating, and gas-related work, including installations, maintenance, servicing, and repairs.
We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent fault-finding skills, and is committed to delivering a high standard of customer service while maintaining full compliance with current safety regulations.
Main Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair domestic plumbing systems, fixtures, and pipework.
- Service, fault-find, and repair gas boilers, heating systems, and associated appliances.
- Complete gas safety inspections and issue certification where required.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with current Gas Safe regulations and industry standards.
- Accurately complete job records, compliance documentation, and service reports.
- Maintain a professional approach in customers' homes and leave all work areas clean, safe, and tidy upon completion.
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating, or an equivalent qualification.
- Current Gas Safe registration.
- Previous experience working within domestic plumbing and heating environments.
- Strong knowledge of gas safety legislation and health & safety procedures.
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own hand and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
