Class 2 HGV Driver – RO-RO Hook Loader / Skip Driver
Hartlepool | £14.49 per hour | 1.5x overtime after 40 hours
We are looking for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join a busy recycling company based in Hartlepool.
The role will involve operating RO-RO (Roll-On/Roll-Off) Hook Loader vehicles and skip vehicles, collecting and transporting waste and recyclable materials.
The Role
- Driving Class 2 RO-RO Hook Loader and Skip vehicles
- Collecting and delivering skips and containers
- Transporting recyclable materials and waste safely
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Completing collections and deliveries efficiently
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety procedures
- Working Monday to Friday
About You
- Full Class 2 (Cat C) HGV licence required
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Hook Loader / RO-RO / Skip Driver experience preferred
- Recycling or waste industry experience would be an advantage
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Good understanding of health & safety
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Hours & Pay
- Monday to Friday
- 10–12 hour shifts
- £14.49 per hour
- Overtime paid at 1.5x after 40 hours
- Based in Hartlepool
- Ongoing work with a busy recycling company
