Working Hours
This role covers our core busy days:
- Friday: 9:30am – 5:15pm
- Saturday: 9:30am – 4:30pm
We know weekends matter, so you’ll have the option to swap one Saturday per month for another weekday, giving you a better balance and a bit more freedom. There may also be opportunities to pick up additional days if you’d like extra hours.
Responsibilities
- Minimum 1 year of salon experience
- A good existing clientele is a bonus, but not essential
- A positive, open‑minded attitude and passion for ongoing learning
- A genuine team spirit — we support, encourage, and celebrate each other
- Provide a range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialty treatments
- Build warm, authentic relationships with clients and help them feel relaxed and cared for
- Offer personalised consultations to understand each client’s style, needs, and preferences
- Support smooth salon flow by helping manage appointments and front‑of‑house tasks
- Maintain a clean, calm, and inviting workspace
- Stay inspired and up to date with new trends and techniques
Qualifications
- Minimum SVQ2 or equivalent
- Experience with front desk or salon management is a plus
- Strong communication skills — you enjoy chatting with clients and connecting with your team
- Good organisational habits and attention to detail to keep service standards high
