Job Overview
We are seeking a Chef de Partie / Breakfast Chef to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Support other kitchen sections as required during busy periods or staff shortages
- Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency throughout service
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a breakfast chef within a restaurant or hotel environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced setting with high-volume meal preparation is desirable
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including serving procedures and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
